The Jeffco Hurricanes is a team in Colorado that unites the swimmers of the North JeffCo Swim Team (in Arvada & Wheat Ridge) with the Evergreen Hurricanes Swim Team (in Evergreen) to create a USA Swimming club. By combining these three sites, we offer our swimmers increased opportunities for training and competition, in a supportive environment where they can push themselves to achieve their athletic best. Swimmers join the team closest to their home, and practice at either Meyers Pool in Arvada or Wheat Ridge Rec Center or the Wulf Recreation Center in Evergreen. The coaching staff at each location shares a unified philosophy, and there will be planned opportunities for swimmers from each location to practice together on occasion. Combining the two teams for competitions throughout the state and region offers our swimmers additional opportunities to compete on relay teams.
